Job Requirements

  • Previous experience or culinary school training required
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
  • Able to keep up with a fast-paced environment
  • Position requires working irregular hours including late nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Ability to perform duties with minimum supervision
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • U.S. work authorization required

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a non-fast food restaurant or culinary school training
  • Knowledge of standardized cooking procedures and food safety guidelines
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment and measure ingredients accurately
  • Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days
  • Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Report to work on time according to posted schedule in specified uniform
  • Open and close the kitchen properly following opening and closing checklists
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately using standardized recipes
  • Test food for proper taste and temperature adhering to ServSafe guidelines
  • Prepare and cook food including washing, peeling, cutting, grilling, baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, carving and portioning
  • Monitor food quantities, quality and display during preparation
  • Stock work-station appropriately for each shift
  • Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and dish preparation
  • Date and rotate food containers ensuring perishables are kept at proper temperatures
  • Clean and sanitize work-space after each shift including food storage containers
  • Communicate effectively with managers and co-workers regarding any issues
  • Respect all co-workers and managers
  • Foster a positive and fun work environment
  • Promote positive perception of the company internally and externally
