Three Birds is a new, modern neighborhood New American restaurant located in the Dayton area, representing the third dynamic concept from The Idea Collective in collaboration with Executive Chef Jorge Guzman, who is also known for notable establishments such as Sueño and Tender Mercy/Dōzo. The restaurant is set to open in May and will begin training new team members in April, offering an exciting opportunity for culinary professionals to join a vibrant and innovative dining destination. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a line cook or similar role
  • Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical demands of kitchen work
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Ability to follow directions and work well under pressure

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items following recipe and presentation guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operation
  • Manage inventory and assist with receiving and storing supplies
  • Monitor and maintain quality control for all dishes served
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
