Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of cooking experience
  • ability to work full-time or part-time with flexible hours
  • availability to work weekends and evenings
  • commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
  • capable of standing for extended periods
  • ability to follow health and safety protocols
  • successful completion of pre-hire health assessment, drug screen, and tobacco screen

Job Qualifications

  • culinary education preferred
  • minimum one year cooking experience
  • experience with quantity cooking
  • experience with modified diets preferred
  • ability to work in diverse dining environments
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • attention to detail in food preparation and presentation

Job Duties

  • prepare high-quality hot and cold meals across multiple dining venues
  • lead meal production and contribute creative input to recipes
  • craft meals catering to specialized dietary needs and modified diets
  • follow infection control best practices and maintain cleanliness
  • minimize food waste and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
  • collaborate with culinary team and support their growth
  • ensure every plate meets quality and presentation standards
