- must be able to lift 20-40 pounds regularly
- strong time management skills
- ability to lead and motivate a diverse team

Job Duties
- Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food items within budget
- receive and examine food items and supplies to ensure quality and quantity standards
- select and develop recipes based on food type
- supervise personnel in preparing, cooking, and serving various foods
- cook and prepare food according to recipes
- cut, trim, and de-bone meats and poultry
- portion cooked foods and instruct workers on portion sizes and garnishing
- carve meats
- create and plan menus
- supervise, resolve problems, and train kitchen staff
- maintain cleanliness of the kitchen
- perform any other duties as requested by management
