Job Requirements

  • Current food handler's certification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience preferably in a high-volume environment
  • Previous supervisor or lead experience managing other cooks
  • Available to work various shift times and days including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds if necessary
  • Authorized to legally work in the US

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience preferably within a high-volume environment
  • Previous supervisor or lead experience managing other cooks
  • Current food handler's certification maintained through employment
  • Ability to pass exams with 90 percent or better in food and all issued training and testing
  • Authorized to legally work in the US
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds if necessary
  • Available to work various shift times and days including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare dishes to meet guest preferences using full understanding of food menus packages and classic recipes
  • Maintain open communication with the front of house team to ensure seamless delivery of guest orders and satisfaction
  • Assist in putting away deliveries storage rotation and cooler organization
  • Maintain correct par levels and minimize waste
  • Ensure high standard of hygiene tidiness and cleanliness is maintained to health code
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules ongoing cleaning including setup and breakdown
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines maintaining proper procedures and reporting hazardous situations or incidents
  • Report for scheduled shifts punctually in proper attire to health and hygiene standards
  • Multitask under pressure and produce menu items efficiently while working on multiple orders
  • Compile daily prep list completing tasks per station timely to standard
  • Train junior team members and lead by example in upholding standards
  • Encourage teamwork and positivity among staff during high-pressure situations
