Job Requirements

One year of custodial experience in a hospital or similar institution
knowledge of modern methods, materials and equipment used in cleaning hospital facilities
ability to instruct and direct employees in all phases of hospital housekeeping
ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
ability to follow oral and written directions
ability to prepare simple records and reports
possession of a valid California Driver's License may be required
successful security clearance conducted by Sheriffs' Department

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Supervise the work of a crew of housekeepers
participate in the evaluation of housekeepers
ensure cleaning, sweeping, washing, mopping, and disinfecting of buildings, furnishings and equipment are accomplished effectively and properly
supervise the replenishment of supplies, bed making, mixing of disinfectant solutions, moving furniture, changing curtains and drapes, and the collection and disposal of trash
perform all work supervised
prepare simple records and reports
maintain effective working relationships with staff and supervisors
