Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in lead housekeeping role preferred
  • Ability to work part-time Monday to Friday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
  • Flexibility to float between Wilmington medical locations
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work in a healthcare environment
  • Pass background screening

Job Qualifications

  • Prior lead experience preferred
  • Ability to supervise and train support staff
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and handle guest complaints professionally
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and inspect maintenance needs

Job Duties

  • Provides quality service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
  • Ensures assigned staff have reported to work and clocked in properly
  • Documents late or absent employees
  • Resolves internal and external guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Coordinates assigned staff breaks
  • Prepares and distributes assignment sheets to staff and reviews priorities
  • Assigns designated keys, radios and beepers to assigned staff and maintains accurate records
  • Checks all equipment used by staff for proper supplies, neatness, cleanliness and mechanical problems
  • Inspects areas to confirm cleaning standards have been met
  • Assists staff to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and service
  • Conducts staff training as assigned
  • Contributes to the team and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others
  • Performs other duties as assigned
