Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of experience in housekeeping or 1 year in luxury hotel housekeeping
Job Duties
- Serve as a departmental role model or mentor by working alongside employees to perform technical or functional job duties
- Lead a team of housekeepers assigned to clean suites
- Assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Assign room and public area cleaning tasks in the absence of managers or supervisors
- Organize and take inventory of housekeeping storages
- Communicate with supervisors and managers on job performance without delivering disciplinary actions
- Ensure housekeeping staff follow guidelines and standard operating procedures for daily duties
- Discuss work topics discreetly and maintain professional communication
- Speak to guests and co-workers using clear and appropriate language
- Use electronic devices to exchange information effectively
- Perform regular housekeeping and house person tasks including cleaning suites, public areas, and deep cleaning projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
