Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in custodial or housekeeping roles
- ability to work flexible hours including mandatory overtime
- successfully complete chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening
- pass a background check
- ability to comprehend and apply safety data sheet information
- adherence to tobacco-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- experience in housekeeping or custodial work
- ability to lead and train other employees
- knowledge of safety regulations related to custodial work
- ability to read and understand material safety data sheets
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work rotating or other shifts
- willing to work mandatory overtime
Job Duties
- perform work at the full-performance level as a lead worker in scheduling and reviewing the work of others
- guide and train staff while performing similar housekeeping duties
- oversee the work of others assigned to perform housekeeping duties
- complete custodial tasks required for compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, OHFLAC
- read and comprehend all material safety data sheets for information on all products used
- represent supervisor at meetings as assigned
- perform other related work as required
