Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in custodial or housekeeping roles
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Must pass chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening
- Successful background check
- Ability to work rotating or other shifts
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime
Job Qualifications
- Experience in custodial work at a supervisory or lead level
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA and Joint Commission standards
- Ability to interpret material safety data sheets
- Strong leadership and training skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including rotating shifts and mandatory overtime
- Previous experience in a healthcare facility preferred
Job Duties
- Perform custodial tasks to ensure compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, and OHFLAC standards
- Schedule and review work of housekeeping staff
- Guide and train team members in housekeeping procedures
- Read and comprehend material safety data sheets for all cleaning products
- Represent supervisor in meetings when assigned
- Oversee housekeeping duties of assigned personnel
- Complete related custodial work as required
