Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred
- Ability to communicate with patients, staff and visitors
- Ability to perform basic calculations and transcription of numerical records
- Ability to speak, read, and write English
- Ability to carry and lift weights as specified
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Caring attitude aligned with Calvary Hospital's spirit
- COVID-19 vaccination strongly encouraged
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous housekeeping or laundry experience preferred

- Aptitude to perform basic calculations and transcription of numerical records
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English is required
- Must be able to carry weight and lift up to 10lbs frequently and up to 40lbs occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

Job Duties
- Clean and service hospital building areas including patient and non-patient spaces
- Perform a variety of housekeeping and laundry duties
- Maintain the hospital and its grounds in an orderly and sanitary condition
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors
- Follow specific job duties under supervision of the Environment Services Manager or designee
- Carry out assigned cleaning schedules and tasks
- Ensure compliance with hospital sanitation and safety standards
