Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and hotel policies

Job Duties

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms including making beds changing linens and replacing towels
  • Dust and polish furniture fixtures and mirrors
  • Vacuum carpets and mop floors
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms including toilets sinks and bathtubs
  • Empty trash cans and replace trash bags
  • Restock guest rooms with amenities such as toiletries and linens
  • Clean and maintain public areas including hallways stairwells and lobbies
  • Sweep mop and vacuum public areas as needed
  • Wipe down surfaces and sanitize high-touch areas
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed
  • Participate in inventory control and supply management
  • Perform other duties as assigned
