Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- knowledge of cleaning methods and safety procedures
- ability to handle multiple priorities
- strong communication skills
- ability to train and support team members
- willingness to work in environments with exposure to chemicals and biological materials
- ability to operate laundry equipment
- commitment to following safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance protocols
- pass required drug and health screenings
- able to complete required training on time management and resident care

Job Duties
- Performs general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas
- performs cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas such as resident suites, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
- respects residents' privacy by knocking and waiting before entering
- maintains equipment and supplies in clean condition
- transports supplies including linens to appropriate storage areas
- collects and removes trash, maintaining receptacles in a clean, sanitary manner
- collects, cleans, sorts, washes, dries, folds, counts, and stacks linens
- inspects linens for wear and tear and follows procedures for damaged linens
- monitors work performed by housekeeping team members to ensure quality standards
- communicates problems and solutions to supervisors
- orders cleaning products and supplies within budget
- assists in training housekeeping team members
- assists Care Managers with resident care when requested
- ensures cleaning chemicals are properly stored and hazards managed
- participates in fire and safety drills and department programs
- maintains compliance with infection control and safety procedures
- participates actively in team goals and engagement programs
- attends regular meetings and completes required training
