Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or hospitality field preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Customer service oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Must effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
- Must listen to, understand, and clarify concerns raised by employees and guests
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees positively and courteously
- Flexible with availability including long hours
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Capable of exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or 10 pounds frequently to move objects
Job Duties
- Greet and warmly welcome guests at the door
- Escort guests to the dining room and introduce them to their server
- Answer the telephone and book reservations
- Move tables together to accommodate large parties
- Monitor open dining sections for empty and cleaned tables
- Estimate wait times and manage the guest waiting list
- Ensure all guest needs are met to the required standard
- Correctly account for all payments taken
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader
