Job Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Fun, energetic and professional attitude
  • Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory
  • Availability for flexible scheduling
  • Must comply with uniform standards including dress, makeup, hair, and jewelry
  • Reliable punctuality for scheduled shifts
  • Comfortable handling phone calls and guest interactions professionally

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat all guests in a hospitable, friendly, and timely manner
  • Handle all incoming telephone calls before the third ring using professional verbiage and a positive tone
  • Maintain a clean entrance area, hostess stand, and women’s restroom
  • Manage the reservations system including seating within reservation times and quoting proper wait times
  • Escort guests to assigned tables while engaging in light conversation and providing a hospitable start
  • Interact with guests and co-workers professionally and friendly
  • Assist in bussing tables during busy periods and maintain clear entryways and aisles
