- host or hostess experience preferred with Open Table

- able to stand, walk, talk, or hear regularly
- able to lift and/or move 10-25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently
- passion for customer service and hospitality

- flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Embody the values and guiding principles of Hotel Drover
- manage multiple functions and deliver results in a demanding, fast paced environment
- build and maintain relationships with stakeholders while representing the Hotel Drover brand
- manage reservation software to drive productivity and guest flow
- conduct host trainings and enforce steps of service
- drive a culture of inclusion and enhanced guest experience
- create floor plans and server sections
- plot guests' tables and manage guest expectations
- greet and welcome guests
- build personal relationships with guests to create a unique experience
- provide fair and consistent seating
- touch tables to ensure guest satisfaction
- receive and record reservations by phone or in person
- accurately handle paperwork
- receive incoming calls
- check floors and tables for cleanliness and accuracy
- assist in bussing tables as needed
- maintain a clean podium
- stock host/hostess stand
- refill beverages as needed
- provide information to guests
- perform other restaurant and customer service-related duties as requested
