Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years of housekeeping experience
- Proficient in hotel management systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to manage and lead housekeeping staff
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Must pass pre-employment process
- Ability to obtain necessary licensing

Job Qualifications
- Three years experience in housekeeping as an individual contributor preferred
- Proficient in hotel management systems
- Able to learn and retain knowledge of computer systems, Microsoft Office, procedures and regulatory requirements
- Strong accountability for business results
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills verbal and written to interface with guests and team members
- Able to remain professional and tolerate stress in a high pressure environment
- Experienced in problem resolution decisively and timely
- Self-starting personality with an even disposition
- Willing to assist co-workers and be a team player
- Knowledge of basic sanitation requirements, controls and relevant chemicals
- Knowledge of housekeeping policies related to safety and security
- Ability to coordinate with other departments regarding housekeeping activities

Job Duties
- Lead and direct all housekeeping operations including Guest Room Attendants and House Attendants
- Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas and coach attendants on any deficiencies
- Assign attendants' carts and signs board in the morning and afternoon
- Inspect public areas and housekeeping closets for standards compliance
- Oversee laundry vendor operations to ensure productivity and safety
- Work closely with Front Office regarding room stock and availability
- Submit maintenance reports and follow up for completion
- Establish and maintain adequate supplies for efficient operation
- Distribute and delegate workload to guarantee maximum production and guest satisfaction
- Ensure adherence to safety and security procedures including master key protection and fire safety
- Work collaboratively with other departments such as Front Desk and Maintenance
- Monitor proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies and provide training
- Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, and decor
- Stay alert for new methods and equipment to improve operations
- Check appearance of all team members to ensure standards compliance
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and hotel rating guidelines
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing to staff
- Perform other related duties as assigned
