Job Requirements

  • Must be a passionate people person due to highly interactive nature of job
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
  • Ability to work on feet for eight hours or more
  • Must be able to lift, push, reach for, or carry 25 plus pounds occasionally
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience or training
  • Two years or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Competent with computer technology to learn reservation management and point of sale systems
  • Friendly and warm demeanor with excellent verbal communication and multitasking skills

  • Two years or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • High volume guest-interfacing hospitality experience preferred
  • Competent with computer technology including reservation management, point of sale systems and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Friendly and warm demeanor with ability to multitask while maintaining poise

Job Duties

  • Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
  • Work with the back of house team in your venue to ensure that all guest requests are met
  • Maintain strong focus on the guest experience and base all decision making around making guests happy, especially when resolving complaints
  • Welcome guests to the unique accommodation experience of Heritage by articulating the story, inspiration, and mindset of the property
  • Passionately deliver refined, seamless service while upholding the highest level of confidentiality for guest safety and comfort
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations about hotel events, amenities, local attractions, and restaurants
  • Acknowledge special occasions with guests such as weddings, birthdays, and anniversaries, providing room upgrades and amenities when applicable
