Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Food handlers card within 30 days of hire and maintain current status thereafter
  • Ability to work full-time, including rotating weekend shifts
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and direct food service team operations
  • Commitment to compliance with food safety regulations
  • Basic computer proficiency

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year leadership experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer usage for record keeping and reporting
  • Ability to train and supervise staff effectively
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Assist with daily management of the food service team including production, patient services, catering, retail
  • Customer service, labor, purchasing, labeling, dating, waste, sales, catering, and temperature daily audits
  • Maintain HACCP focus and compliance with TDH, city, and other regulatory agencies
  • Provide ongoing and initial training of staff to ensure compliance capabilities
  • Demonstrate knowledge of specific patient needs and related food service practices
  • Use mathematical and analytical skills to record, monitor, and oversee food service operations
  • Utilize computer skills to record and interpret data, create and print signs, and support department as needed
