Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Must hold Serve Safe certification within six months of start of position
  • Three years work experience in Dietary Department in various roles or previous lead experience in fast-paced Food Service
  • One year of direct customer service experience
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Reliable and dependable self-starter
  • Able to work within department and hospital policies and procedures
  • Ability to bend and stoop, push, pull up to 50 lbs and lift objects up to 25 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Organize and coordinate Dietary Department functions and personnel activities
  • Ensure positive and service-focused customer experience within the Food Services department
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for food preparation
  • Perform duties of Personal Nutrition Associate, Food Services Aide, Porter, or Cook according to departmental policies
  • Follow State and Federal regulatory compliance guidelines
  • Collaborate with associates to improve department operations
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
