Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Serve Safe certification within six months of start position and maintained
- Excellent customer service orientation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Reliable and dependable self-starter
- Ability to take initiative and participate actively
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, push, pull up to 50 lbs and lift objects up to 25 lbs
- Three years work experience in dietary department or food service leadership preferably in healthcare
- One year direct customer service experience

Job Duties
- Organize and coordinate dietary department functions and activities of assigned personnel
- Work with associates to ensure a positive and service-focused customer experience
- Ensure a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in food preparation
- Perform duties as a Personal Nutrition Associate, Food Services Aide, Porter, or Cook according to policies
- Use safe work practices following state and federal regulatory compliance guidelines
- Lead and participate in departmental initiatives to improve service quality
- Enforce departmental and hospital policies and procedures
