Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Three years in hospitality or industry operation with two years progressive lead or supervisory experience
  • Must have Food Handler Permit or Certified Food Manager certification obtained within 90 days
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English sufficient to perform job duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
  • Knowledge of computers and software tools
  • Follow all department policies and safety regulations
  • Ability to work in uniform including scrubs and business professional attire
  • Must be able to be on-call during emergencies
  • No travel required outside of work location

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Three years in hospitality or industry operation with two years progressive lead or supervisory experience
  • Preferred cash handling experience
  • Effective communication skills with patients, physicians, family members, and co-workers
  • Proficiency with food information software system such as CBORD
  • Ability to organize and execute logical work sequences
  • Ability to make decisions based on relevant information
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with food service management software
  • Adherence to Food and Nutrition Services Standards of Appearance

Job Duties

  • Assist in tray assembly
  • Assist in simple food preparation
  • Serve customers and replenish stations
  • Handle cash and transport food carts
  • Maintain employee schedules and support management
  • Communicate workplace hazards and follow cleaning and sanitation procedures
  • Monitor server activities and lead staff during shifts
