Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years progressive work-related experience in a food service setting
  • Completion of the 108-hour Dietetic Assistant Program
  • National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation ServSafe Protection Certification or willingness to obtain within first 6 to 12 months
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well with diverse teams
  • Problem-solving capability

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two to three years progressive work-related experience in a food service setting
  • Completion of the 108-hour Dietetic Assistant Program

  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with a culturally diverse workforce
  • Problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Coordinates and monitors sanitary activities to maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with The Department of Health Regulations
  • Participates in scheduling of subordinates to provide adequate unit staffing
  • Assists in performance improvement plan development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of operational systems to meet department regulatory agency code standards
  • Monitors dress code compliance and maintains time and attendance records
  • Communicates any problems to management
  • Assists in training personnel
  • Maintains appropriate records
  • Responsible for weekend coverage as the opening manager
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
