Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • two to three years progressive work-related experience in a food service setting
  • completion of the 108-hour Dietetic Assistant Program
  • National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation ServSafe Protection Certification required or must obtain ServSafe Protection Certificate within first 6 to 12 months of employment and maintain throughout employment
  • ability to effectively communicate both in writing and verbally
  • ability to establish effective working relationships with a culturally diverse workforce
  • able to anticipate and solve problems effectively and efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Coordinates and monitors sanitary activities to maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with The Department of Health Regulations
  • participates in scheduling of subordinates to provide adequate unit staffing
  • assists in performance improvement plan development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of operational systems to meet department regulatory agency code standards
  • monitors dress code compliance and maintains time and attendance records
  • communicates any problems to management
  • assists in training personnel
  • maintains appropriate records
  • responsible for weekend coverage as the opening manager
  • performs other related duties as assigned
