Job Duties
- Independently prepare or instruct inmate labor in food preparation according to recipes and work standards
- handle production and sanitation paperwork to ensure compliance with facility procedures
- ensure cleaning and maintenance of food service equipment and work areas
- enforce proper safety and sanitation practices
- follow institutional requirements for meal preparation and serving
- adhere to housekeeping and safety standards
- store food and supplies according to instructions
- perform duties in high volume food production settings
- supervise inmate labor
- may perform additional duties as assigned
