- one year or more of experience working in a food service role
- prior institutional food service or restaurant experience is a plus
- ability to lift up to 50 lb
- ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Duties
- Independently prepare or assist in food preparation
- instruct inmate labor in food preparation and serving
- handle production and sanitation paperwork
- ensure cleaning and maintenance of food service equipment and work areas
- confirm proper safety and sanitation practices
- follow institution requirements for meal preparation and serving
- store food and supplies according to instructions
- perform high volume food production
- perform other assigned duties
