Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work hourly full-time shifts
- Experience in food service at fine dining or full-service restaurant
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Effective communication skills
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain professionalism and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of food server experience working in a fine dining or full-service restaurant
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktails
- Understanding of standard menu items and daily specials
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation methods
- Understanding of inventory control practices and procedures
- Experience with reservation management systems
- Knowledge of usage and care of standard kitchen equipment and utensils
- Familiarity with guest service standards and policies
- Ability to assist customers in making menu selections
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Basic arithmetic skills
Job Duties
- Take orders and serve food and beverages
- Prepare some food items such as salads
- Advise customers regarding menu items
- Plan floor arrangement for catered events
- Serve tables at catered events
- Communicate with management staff on a daily basis
- Answer customers’ questions regarding the organization
