Job Qualifications

  • excellent communication skills
  • strong guest service orientation
  • ServSafe certification helpful
  • working knowledge of POS systems
  • understanding and enforcement of FIFO inventory procedures
  • working knowledge of food and beverage equipment
  • knowledge of menus including specials and features
  • ability to train and supervise staff
  • basic understanding of food and beverage operations
  • accurate record-keeping skills
  • awareness of shop security and theft prevention
  • able to work in a fast-paced seasonal food service operation with flexibility
  • demonstrate punctuality and reliability
  • able to work with minimal supervision
  • valid non-CDL driver’s license with clean record

Job Duties

  • perform all duties with respect to company core values, mission statement, and guest service standards
  • assure the highest standards of restaurant service
  • perform all cashiering duties accurately
  • suggest add-on sales to every transaction
  • assist in day-to-day operation and manage in absence of F&B manager
  • assist with staff supervision and training
  • organize stockroom and maintain stocked, neat displays
  • work all cafe areas alongside attendants
  • communicate with management on business and staffing needs
  • help with loading and unloading products
  • maintain excellent guest service
  • receive orders and maintain inventory
  • keep cafe clean daily
  • maximize sales through up-selling
  • handle cashier change requests
  • verify cash drawers and deposits
  • maintain safe and sanitary work area
  • comply with ServSafe protocols
  • open and close service facilities on time
  • work evenings, nights, weekends, holidays
  • perform additional duties as assigned
  • this is a non-tipped position
