Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Food Safety Certification required within 6 months
  • Knowledge of food sanitation and safety principles
  • Ability to follow HACCP procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate or vocational training in food preparation preferred
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety principles in food handling
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Food Safety Certification required within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in a healthcare food service environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee the preparation and production of patient and guest meals according to standardized recipes and production charts
  • Ensure food quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness meet department standards
  • Follow HACCP and all food safety procedures
  • Use standard food preparation equipment and utensils properly
  • Manage and lead kitchen staff to support departmental goals
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in compliance with food service regulations
  • Support training and development of food service team members
