Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and food production charts
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Food Safety Certification within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to supervise and lead food service staff

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, certification, GED, or equivalent training
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety principles in food handling and equipment
  • Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Prefer 1 year of trade school or vocational schooling
  • Food Safety Certification required within 6 months of hire

Job Duties

  • Oversee, lead, and support the preparation and production of food for patient and guest meals
  • Ensure department goals and objectives are met
  • Follow standardized recipes, daily production charts, and instructions
  • Ensure food quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness standards are met
  • Follow HACCP procedures
  • Use standard food preparation equipment, utensils, and measuring devices appropriately
  • Maintain compliance with food service sanitation and safety regulations
