Job Requirements
- Availability on Sundays and evenings
- prior management experience
- enthusiasm about working with kids with a positive and engaging demeanor
- effective communicator with children and adults
- desire to promote a positive learning environment for every child
- desire to grow within the organization
- experience as a gymnastics coach or related sport is highly preferred
- previous birthday party event experience preferred but not required
- gymnastics experience preferred but not required
Job Qualifications
- Prior management experience
- enthusiasm for working with kids and maintaining a fun energy
- effective communication skills with children and adults
- desire to promote a positive learning environment
- experience as a gymnastics coach or in a related sport preferred
- previous experience leading birthday party events preferred
- willingness to grow within the organization
Job Duties
- Lead and guide a team of junior Special Events coaches
- execute established Play events such as birthday parties, Parents' Night Out, and camps
- communicate effectively with customers before, during, and after events
- provide a fun and positive experience for event participants
- participate in community events like parades and farmer's markets to promote SGA
- engage in paid training opportunities including SGA University courses and USA Gymnastics clinics
- assist in light cleaning duties to maintain gym cleanliness
- coach recreational gymnastics classes during weekdays (for full-time hires)
