Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Food Safety Professional Certification
  • Local food handler permit if required
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb a 6-foot ladder
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Proficient with personal computers and mobile devices
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Must maintain professional appearance and grooming
  • Willingness to report work-related injuries promptly
  • Ability to work up to 25 hours per week, with flexibility

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
  • Food Safety Professional Certification
  • Local food handler's permit if required
  • Proficient computer skills to use applications and internal systems
  • Ability to engage and sell to consumers
  • Knowledge of food safety and preparation
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to physically perform job tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies to ensure cleanliness and security
  • Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events in Supervisor's absence
  • Serve as point of contact for all in-store events when Supervisor is absent
  • Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools
  • Provide leadership and share knowledge with the team
  • Demonstrate and sell products by engaging consumers positively
  • Prepare and serve food samples following safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work station
  • Set up and prepare Event Table for demonstrations
  • Complete assigned work and audit corrections
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
  • Complete and submit expense reports and online documentation on event day
  • Document event setups with digital photos
  • Comply with food safety regulations when handling food products
