Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Food Safety Professional Certification
- Local food handler permit if required
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb a 6-foot ladder
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Proficient with personal computers and mobile devices
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must maintain professional appearance and grooming
- Willingness to report work-related injuries promptly
- Ability to work up to 25 hours per week, with flexibility
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
- Food Safety Professional Certification
- Local food handler's permit if required
- Proficient computer skills to use applications and internal systems
- Ability to engage and sell to consumers
- Knowledge of food safety and preparation
- Good communication skills
- Ability to physically perform job tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies to ensure cleanliness and security
- Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events in Supervisor's absence
- Serve as point of contact for all in-store events when Supervisor is absent
- Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools
- Provide leadership and share knowledge with the team
- Demonstrate and sell products by engaging consumers positively
- Prepare and serve food samples following safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and safe work station
- Set up and prepare Event Table for demonstrations
- Complete assigned work and audit corrections
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
- Complete and submit expense reports and online documentation on event day
- Document event setups with digital photos
- Comply with food safety regulations when handling food products
