Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Food Safety Professional Certification
  • Local food handler permit if required
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to prepare and serve food samples
  • Ability to handle physical job demands such as lifting and standing
  • Adherence to professional appearance standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Willingness to work up to 25 hours per week
  • Availability to work in retail store environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three months of related experience or training
  • Food Safety Professional Certification
  • Local food handler permit if required
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to communicate product features and benefits effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and preparation
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform job tasks

Job Duties

  • Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations
  • Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies
  • Communicate with store management in absence of supervisor
  • Serve as point person for events when supervisor is absent
  • Assist other event specialists with kits, materials, and tools
  • Provide leadership and product knowledge to the team
  • Prepare and serve food samples following safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe workstation
  • Set up and prepare event tables
  • Complete assigned work and audits
  • Build rapport with store personnel
  • Complete expense reports and online requirements
  • Document event setups with photos
