Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Proficient use of personal computer and mobile devices
  • Food Safety Professional Certification
  • Local food handler permit if required
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate small appliances
  • Ability to work up to 25 hours per week
  • Professional appearance and grooming
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to report work-related injuries promptly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination
  • Proficient computer skills with personal computers and mobile devices
  • Food Safety Professional Certification
  • Local food handler's permit if required
  • Ability to communicate product features and benefits effectively
  • Capability to prepare and serve food samples safely
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and grooming
  • Capable of documenting event success visually

Job Duties

  • Complete in-store food and non-food demonstrations
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of represented products
  • Serve, demonstrate, intercept consumers and sell products professionally
  • Manage and maintain event execution equipment in stores
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements
  • Communicate with store management and act as point of contact in absence of Supervisor
  • Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools
  • Provide leadership and knowledge support to the team
  • Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines
  • Use small appliances for food preparation
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station
  • Set up and prepare event table for execution
  • Complete all assigned work and assist with client visit preparations
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
  • Complete expense reports and submit online requirements timely
  • Take digital photos of event setups
  • Report work-related injuries to supervisor immediately
