Job Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and use hands and fingers regularly
Reach with hands and arms including overhead
Ability to talk, hear, and visually read instructions
Capability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and maintain balance
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to push and pull fully laden wheeled carts
Experience with preparing food samples using various kitchen appliances
Contact with cleaning supplies
Maintain professional appearance and grooming consistent with retailer dress code
English language proficiency
Flexibility to perform job-related tasks as assigned
Compliance with workers’ compensation claim reporting policy

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three months’ related experience or training or equivalent education and experience
Proficient in computer and mobile device navigation and applications
Food safety professional certification
Local food handler’s permit if required
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Bilingual skills based on business necessity
Ability to maintain professional appearance and grooming
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Ability to prepare foods using raw products and small appliances
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures

Job Duties

Manage and maintain equipment and supplies for events to ensure cleanliness and security
Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events when supervisor is absent
Serve as point person for event execution in the store in the absence of the supervisor
Assist other event specialists with event kits, materials, and tools as needed
Provide leadership and knowledge to the team to support the supervisor
Acquire and maintain adequate product knowledge
Proactively intercept, engage, and sell products to consumers
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances while maintaining food safety
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation
Set up and prepare event tables for demonstrations
Complete all assigned work tasks
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
Complete expense reports according to company policy
Submit all online requirements on the day of event execution
Document event success via digital photos of perfect table setups
