Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months of related experience or training
- Food Safety Professional Certification or local food handler's permit if required
- Ability to use and navigate personal computer and mobile devices
- Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and handle cooking equipment
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Willingness to adhere to all food safety and store policies
- Ability to work up to 25 hours per week
- Capability to work in a retail environment and maintain cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in using personal computer and mobile devices with applications and internal systems
- Food Safety Professional Certification
- Local Food Handlers Permit if required
- Ability to communicate product features and benefits effectively
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Physical ability to perform job duties such as standing, walking, lifting, and using equipment
- English language proficiency with bilingual skills considered a plus
Job Duties
- Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies to ensure cleanliness and security
- Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events in absence of Supervisor
- Serve as point person for all store events when Supervisor is absent
- Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools
- Provide leadership and knowledge to the team
- Acquire and demonstrate product knowledge
- Proactively intercept, engage, and sell products to consumers
- Prepare and serve food samples following food safety guidelines
- Use small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, and coffee makers
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements
- Set up and prepare Event Table for execution
- Complete all assigned work
- Assist with client visit preparation and audit corrections
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
- Complete expense reports according to company policy
- Submit all on-line requirements on event day
- Take digital photos of Perfect Table Setup to document successful events
