Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three months related experience or training
- Proficiency in using personal computers and mobile devices
- Food Safety Professional Certification or local food handlers permit if required
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, hear, read, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull demonstration cart
- Ability to prepare and serve food using cooking appliances
- Ability to maintain clean workstation
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
- Ability to work in retail store environment
- Availability to work up to 25 hours per week
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training
- Proficient computer skills with personal computer and mobile device
- Food Safety Professional Certification
- Local food handler's permit if required
- Ability to prepare and serve food safely
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead team in supervisor's absence
- Ability to maintain professional appearance
- English language proficiency
- Bilingual skills may be required based on business needs
Job Duties
- Management and maintenance of event equipment and supplies ensuring cleanliness and security
- Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events in supervisor's absence
- Act as point person for all events in the store when supervisor is absent
- Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials and tools
- Provide leadership and knowledge to the team
- Gain and maintain knowledge of products represented
- Engage and sell products to consumers proactively
- Prepare and serve food samples following food safety guidelines
- Use small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets and coffee makers for demos
- Maintain clean, sterile and safe work station
- Set up and prepare event table for execution
- Complete all assigned work and audit corrections
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
- Complete expense reports and submit online requirements promptly
- Take digital photos documenting event success stories
