Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training
- Food Safety Professional Certification
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Able to use hands and fingers to handle items
- Able to communicate clearly in English
- Ability to follow food safety guidelines
- Able to maintain professional appearance
- Willingness to take direction and perform varied job tasks
- Ability to use small kitchen appliances safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination
- Proficient computer skills on personal devices and internal systems
- Food Safety Professional Certification
- Local Food handlers permit if required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Bilingual skills may be required
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and using kitchen equipment
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Job Duties
- Manage and maintain equipment and supplies for events ensuring cleanliness and security
- Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events when Supervisor is absent
- Act as point person for all store events in supervisor's absence
- Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools
- Provide leadership and product knowledge to the team
- Proactively engage consumers to demonstrate and sell products
- Prepare and serve food samples following food safety guidelines
- Maintain clean, sterile, and safe workstations
- Set up and prepare event tables
- Complete assigned work and assist with client visit preparations
- Build rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives
- Complete expense reports according to company policy
- Submit online requirements on the event day
- Take digital photos of event setups to document success
