Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Food Safety Professional Certification
  • Local food handlers permit if required
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb 6-foot ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull wheeled demonstration cart
  • Ability to prepare foods using raw products and cooking utensils
  • Ability to work retail store environment with limited travel
  • Maintain professional appearance and grooming
  • English language skills, bilingual skills if required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent education and experience
  • Proficient in computer skills and navigating personal and mobile device applications
  • Food Safety Professional Certification
  • Local Food handlers permit if required
  • Ability to prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines
  • Capability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey product features and benefits
  • Bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity

Job Duties

  • Complete in-store food and non-food product demonstrations
  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of represented products
  • Serve, demonstrate, intercept consumers and sell products professionally
  • Manage event execution equipment and supplies in stores
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements
  • Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances
  • Communicate with store management and assist Event Specialists when Supervisor is absent
