Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three months related experience and/or training
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb including a 6-foot ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull wheeled demonstration cart laden with supplies
  • Ability to prepare foods using raw products and small appliances
  • Contact with cleaning chemicals
  • Professional appearance and proper grooming
  • English language proficiency
  • Willingness to assume supervisory responsibilities when Supervisor is absent
  • Ability to work retail store environment with limited travel
  • Ability to complete all assigned tasks satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One to three months related experience or training preferred
  • Proficient in using personal computers and mobile devices with internal applications
  • Food Safety Professional Certification required
  • Local Food Handlers permit if applicable
  • Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
  • Ability to follow food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Bilingual skills may be required based on business needs

Job Duties

  • Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies to ensure cleanliness and security
  • Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events when Supervisor is absent
  • Serve as the point of contact for all in-store events in the Supervisor's absence
  • Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools as needed
  • Provide leadership and knowledge to the team to support the Supervisor
  • Acquire and apply product knowledge to effectively engage customers
  • Proactively intercept, engage, and sell products to consumers
  • Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals
  • Set up and prepare the Event Table for demonstrations
  • Complete tasks assigned and assist with client visits and audit corrections
  • Build and maintain rapport with store personnel
  • Complete expense reports and online event requirements promptly
  • Take digital photos of Event Table setups to document success
