Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training
- Food Safety Professional Certification or local food handler's permit if required
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, hear, read instructions
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb a 6-foot ladder
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully loaded
- Ability to prepare food using raw products and cooking utensils
- Ability to maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to be point of contact in Supervisor's absence
- Retail store work environment
- Limited travel
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience
- Proficient computer skills using personal computers and mobile devices
- Food Safety Professional Certification
- Local food handler's permit if required
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Ability to prepare food using raw products and small appliances
- Effective communication skills
- Professional appearance and grooming
- English language proficiency, bilingual skills may be required
Job Duties
- Management and maintenance of equipment and supplies for events to ensure cleanliness and security
- Communicate with store management about upcoming and past events when Supervisor is absent
- Serve as the point person for all events conducted in the store in Supervisor's absence
- Assist other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools
- Provide leadership and knowledge to the team
- Acquire and maintain product knowledge
- Engage and sell product to consumers
- Prepare and serve food samples complying with food safety guidelines
- Use small appliances to prepare food samples
- Maintain a clean and safe workstation
- Maintain professional appearance
- Set up and prepare event tables
- Complete all assigned work
- Assist with client visits and audit corrections
- Build rapport with store personnel
- Complete expense reports
- Submit online requirements same day as event execution
- Take digital photos of event setups
