Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- reach with hands and arms including overhead
- talk and hear clearly
- visual ability to read instructions and perform responsibilities
- ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb including using a 6 foot ladder
- lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- push and pull wheeled demonstration cart laden with equipment and supplies
- prepare foods using raw products with cooking utensils
- work in a retail store environment with limited travel
- ability to maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station
- ensure a professional appearance and appropriate grooming
- ability to follow instructions and perform job tasks
- report work-related injuries to supervisor promptly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- proficient computer skills including using personal computers and mobile devices
- food safety professional certification
- local food handlers permit if required
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity
- ability to maintain professional appearance consistent with job requirements
Job Duties
- Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies ensuring cleanliness and security
- communicate with store management about upcoming and past events in supervisor's absence
- act as point of contact for all events during supervisor's absence
- assist other event specialists with event kits and tools
- provide leadership and product knowledge to the team
- engage proactively with consumers and sell products
- prepare and serve food samples following food safety guidelines
