Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience or high school diploma and seven years of appropriate experience
  • Valid FL driver’s license
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working in academic medical research or higher education environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience or high school diploma and seven years of appropriate experience
  • Knowledge of university procurement policies vendor management and contract negotiations
  • Experience in complex executive conference and event planning
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative and creative approaches to events
  • Strong organizational skills and flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadlines

Job Duties

  • Lead planning logistics and execution of seminars conferences and symposia
  • Oversee event setup vendor coordination and day of execution
  • Develop and manage event budgets handle vendor contracts and payments ensure compliance with financial policies
  • Coordinate with internal teams external vendors and event stakeholders providing leadership and support
  • Analyze event success through feedback surveys data reports and debrief meetings implementing best practices for future events
