Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience or high school diploma and seven years of appropriate experience
- Valid FL driver’s license
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience working in academic medical research or higher education environments
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three years of appropriate experience or high school diploma and seven years of appropriate experience
- Knowledge of university procurement policies vendor management and contract negotiations
- Experience in complex executive conference and event planning
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement innovative and creative approaches to events
- Strong organizational skills and flexibility to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
Job Duties
- Lead planning logistics and execution of seminars conferences and symposia
- Oversee event setup vendor coordination and day of execution
- Develop and manage event budgets handle vendor contracts and payments ensure compliance with financial policies
- Coordinate with internal teams external vendors and event stakeholders providing leadership and support
- Analyze event success through feedback surveys data reports and debrief meetings implementing best practices for future events
