Job Requirements

  • Must have minimum three years of experience in event planning and operations
  • Ability to maintain and direct event day timelines
  • Comfortable presenting to city and municipal agencies
  • Ability to read and interpret course and site maps
  • Willingness to learn CAD software
  • Willingness to travel 20 to 25 weekends per year
  • Must be able to work long hours standing on event days
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs

  • Experience presenting to city agencies

Job Duties

  • Develop event plans and obtain necessary permits
  • Recruit and manage volunteers and contractors
  • Create course layouts and site maps
  • Develop event day crew schedules
  • Lead and direct event day crews and volunteers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve real-time event issues
  • Physically set up event equipment and manage logistics
