Job Requirements

Minimum of 1-year housekeeping experience in hospital setting
familiarity with Joint Commission requirements preferred
knowledge of chemical sanitizers and housekeeping functions
ability to supervise large teams
strong communication skills

Job Qualifications

strong supervisory and communication skills
ability to create cohesive working relationships with hospital staff and department heads

Job Duties

Supervise a staff of 25 or more employees
provide leadership, direction, and equity in dealing with staff
ensure regulatory compliance for sanitation
sanitize public areas to maintain a positive image
generate policies and procedures for infection control and sanitation standards
coordinate rental linen and uniform efforts
participate in employee awareness and education
