Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must obtain Non-CDL DOT Medical Card
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Prior experience in transportation or supervisory roles preferred

  • Experience in leadership or supervisory roles preferred
  • Strong communication and team-building skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Direct and inspire a team of drivers with leadership focused on process improvement, team-building, coaching, and feedback
  • Keep overtime to a minimum except for emergency situations
  • Assist the Station Manager with recruitment activities including interviewing, selecting, training, motivating, coaching, and mentoring drivers
  • Oversee daily fleet maintenance review and promptly report any concerns
  • Conduct regular safety audits, lead station safety meetings, and meet with staff to ensure a safe work environment
  • Help manage local permits and vehicle registrations in coordination with the Station Manager
  • Maintain relationships with airport ground transportation authorities and attend required meetings
