Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in dietary services in LTC, SNF, AL, or MC setting
- Current ServSafe Managers certification
- Weekend availability
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including breakfast and dinner shifts
- Passion for working with senior residents
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a dietary department within LTC, SNF, AL, or MC settings preferred
- Professional image in appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Current ServSafe Managers certification required
- Ability to train and lead dietary team members
- Knowledge of prescribed diet orders and liberalized diet policies
Job Duties
- Schedule and oversee three breakfast and two dinner shifts weekly
- Maintain beverage temperature, test tray, dining room refrigerator, and service timing logs
- Train Dietary Aides on proper log use and dietary procedures
- Assist CDM with job flow chart development and training of dietary team
- Monitor and enforce ServSafe-approved sanitation and cleaning schedules
- Input diet orders and manage meal ticketing processes
- Communicate and address resident dietary needs and concerns promptly
- Attend departmental meetings and relay information to dietary aides
