- two years food service experience in a healthcare setting
- possess ServSafe Sanitation Certification within 6 months of hire

- experience acting in a lead role with responsibility for food service operations

- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- basic computer proficiency including Microsoft applications and Internet
- knowledge of healthcare regulatory, safety and sanitation requirements
Job Duties
- Lead patient meal service operations
- act as primary resource for food and nutrition staff including patient and non-patient services
- troubleshoot employee, service and operational issues during management off-duty hours
- ensure high quality dining experiences meeting nutritional requirements and service expectations
- oversee room service operations including staff management, safety and sanitation
- maintain compliance with health care regulatory, safety and sanitation standards
- communicate effectively with team members and address problems proactively
