Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours
- ability to lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds for up to 30 minutes during a shift
- occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level
- ability to push/pull with a force of 20 pounds
- ability to bend at the waist and twist for up to one hour per shift
- good eye-hand coordination
- ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects
- ability to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials or place and remove signs
- flexible shift availability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- retail and customer service experience
- sales associate or cashiering experience
- entry-level management experience preferred
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- motivation to advance in career
- willingness to learn and have fun
Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- run the register and cashier transactions
- make purchase suggestions to customers
- assist with the store’s food program
- lead shifts and supervise entry-level employees
- maintain high standards for store appearance both inside and outside
- provide fast and friendly service in a team environment
