Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly and attentive manner
- Greets customers as they enter and thanks them as they leave
- Assists customers by offering suggestions or recommendations
- Accurately rings up all sales and handles payments
- Operates fuel console, lottery machines, and other store equipment
- Maintains store cleanliness inside and out, performing housekeeping duties
- Inspects store condition and contacts maintenance for repairs
- Completes merchandise ordering and receives vendor deliveries
- Maintains adequate stock and rotates merchandise
- Places advertising and pricing signage
- Monitors sales controls including cash handling and inventory
- Reports discrepancies to Store Manager
- Supervises customer service representatives in absence of assistant manager
- Coaches and trains new employees
- Adjusts staffing based on customer traffic and operational needs
- Reports and addresses safety and security incidents
- Performs shift change duties including cash drawer counting and record keeping
- Attends job-related meetings and completes daily reports
